In Marunouchi, relocations accelerate while rents fall
According to an interview survey conducted by the Nikkei Real Estate Market Report of multiple real estate companies on rents in the Marunouchi, Otemachi, Yurakucho, and Uchisaiwaicho areas, maximum rents dropped by about 2,000 yen per tsubo [$7 per m2] compared with six months ago. On the other hand, tenant relocations have accelerated, leading to a decreasing number of buildings with large vacant spaces.
